Bleeding Hemroids And How You Treat Them

by Jo Allison on 04/09/2009

Bleeding hemroids can be either internal or external, or both. They are know as internal when they are in the intestines and external when they protrude from the anus. Either way they bring distress, itching, soreness and on occasions agonising pain which could be relieved by Venapro

The explanation for bleeding hemroids is simple. They are veins engorged with blood in the lower part of the bowels and because of excessive straining swell and can rupture. This straining is commonly caused through constipation coupled with additional pressure when expeling hard stools. However diarrhoea is also known to cause bleeding hemroids.

Overweight people and pregnant women are prone to bleeding hemroids due to the extra pressure on the bowels due to their size. And giving birth can also cause bleeding hemroids because of the  pressure as the woman contracts in labour. Whatever the cause bleeding hemroids should not be ignored and if sever a doctor should be consulted.

Ensure your digestive system is functioning well and eat regular portions of high fibre foods like fruit, vegetables and full corn products.  Keep your body well hydrated through drinking plenty of fresh water. This will eliminate constipation which is the number one cause of bleeding hemroids. Try also to get some regular exercise even if it’s only going for a walk or taking the stairs instead of the lift. Exercise will not only help your digestion but improve your general health.

Hemroids Treatment.

Be very gentle when wiping and cleaning the anus. Use wet wipes or preferably a bidet to keep your anus clean after using the bathroom, then carefully apply cream I recommend Venapro-Colon Health Supplement to the effected area.

Bleeding hemroids can normally be treated at home and surgery is rarely needed. A newer form of medical treatment is THD – Transanal Haemorrhoidal Dearterialisation which is a non incisional surgical technique for the piles. It consis of tying off the branches of the superior rectal artery. This results in a reduction of blood flow and decongestion of the hemroid. Your doctor will advise you if this treatment is necessary.

It is important that you treat your bleeding hemroids and do not delay as they can worsen over time.  Becoming more painful and difficult to treat.
